Survival Kits ....

Before I launch into what the title is about - that was a surprise - logging on to post.  Everything has changed on Blogger.  So there's another hour out of my life - faffing around trying to see what's what - lol.
Anyways - here's the next stage in The Wedding Preparations (eight weeks yesterday - don't you know).
The bag size and colour were agreed by Bridezilla (see previous post) - so Mum came home and promptly changed the design (which had been approved) of the Bags for the Girlies - naughty Mummy - lol.  So - here is a finished Girlie Bag ...
A wide assortment of Tim Holtz dies were used in this - Tattered Florals, Sewing Room, Vintage Lace strip die and Mini Tattered Florals strip die (at least I think that's what it's called).  Good old Nesties and Just Rite stamps were called into play and a stamp from the Oxford Impressions plate - The Art of Being Beautiful (just love those stamps - note to self - must use them more often).  I even used some of my TH embellishments and things - the sort of thing I buy and don't use because they are tooooooo nice - just sit and stroke and ogle them - lol.
And here's what's inside the agreed silver organza bag ...
And here's the Boy Bags, which Bridezilla hasn't seen yet - so don't tell her ....
More TH dies - Umbrella Man, Film Strip, Rosette and Mini Rosette.  The tickets are Invoke Arts and the Bingo Card from a small Bo-Bunny set, newly purchased.  More TH embellishments used and the red wire thing through the button on the lower rosette is something from 7 Gypsies, which I've had for ever.
And the silver organza bag ....
Just got to show you this - bearing in mind that I only had to make four Girlie Bags and five Boy Bags - this is the mess I made ....
To say nothing of the floor ...
Such a slob - lol - but all is tidy now ....
Only four more creative Wedding jobs left to do (that I know of - lol).  One is supernaturally boring - place names.  Then there is the table plan (might take that to work - we have humongous tables there), Lucky Sixpence receptacles for the kiddy-winks (not got a clue what to do about that one - yet - lol) and the Guest Book - have an idea about that one - but need to check with Bridezilla first - lol.
Right off for a turkey roast dinner at Bridezilla's house and will show her the finished bags - fingers crossed she likes them ....

Wow so much going on with the wedding plans. I love all the gift bags for boys and girls. Such fun but a lot of work. I enjoyed the photos.
