Reasons To Be Cheerful ....

1.  It has stopped raining - at least for a while ...
2.  These are so lovely in the garden -

This is part of a rather large clump of Lily of the Valley in the garden which has stood up to the rain and the wind rather well but is a little bit slow in flowering.  The actual clump is about three times the size of the photo - but if I'd taken a piccie of all of it, you would have seen buckets and spades etc - bit inappropriate for the day I thought - lol.  Here's a close up of the pretty flowers that are out ...

Off to the Village Shop to see what they have in the way of chocolate cake ....
