I'm almost there with The Wedding stuff (or at least the things that I know of - lol) and this is the saga of the Place Name Cards - which are almost as well travelled as the Olympic torch will be - lol.
We started in Sussex with some sheets of The Cream Card - which was cut to size (can't remember how big) and scored ....
That's right - you guessed - Wolverhampton. Me and my mate Sue (you know, the one who should have a Blog but doesn't) are texting - as we do - and I'm wailing and whining and generally going on to the point where it becomes boring, about how on earth I was going to get these Place Names done. This is particularly as my handwriting is worse than your average GP's - lol. Says Sue - quite late it has to be said - 'my sister has beautiful handwriting, I'm sure she'll do them for you'. One photograph posted on FB later and the above receptacle is sent off to the lovely Helen, quicker than you can say ink ....
Helen certainly came up trumps - have a look at these ....
Such beautiful writing. She did it with a fountain pen too and I understand bought a new rubber to erase her lines. Helen - you did great and you definitely ROCK - lol.
I added the decorative bits in the corner and voila ....
Off to do some knitting - just for a change - lol
